United Methodist Women

Vineville United Methodist Women has a long rich history and heritage. Our members are involved in all facets of the Church and give support to its programs.  We have circles composed of varying age groups and interests.

Membership in United Methodist Women is voluntary and open to all women who are committed to mission.  However, membership is not automatic.  Membership can be expressed in many ways.

Some examples are:

    • attendance at meetings
    • mission giving to support global mission
    • intercessory prayer
    • participation in the Reading Program
    • participation in varied events, projects, issues and concerns of United Methodist Women
    • accepting leadership responsibility
    • reading Response
    • attending the School of Christian Mission

At Vineville, United Methodist Women are finding involvement not only valuable to others but personally fulfilling and fun.

Purpose

The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

These Circles are designed to connect you with other women from our church while serving and learning about God.
