What Wondrous Love: Holy Week in Word and Art

Wednesday, Thursday April 5 at 10:30am in the library
Drink in the words and images of Jesus’ life from Palm Sunday to Holy Saturday with this lovely and poignant video. With exquisite artwork, scripture, and music, this will definitely add to your experience of Holy Week. We will start with morning prayer and finish with a blessing for the journey still before us. All are welcome.

Maundy Thursday Worship

Thursday, April 6 at 6pm in the Sanctuary
This sacred and solemn time of worship invites us to join Jesus and the disciples at the table for the Last Supper. We will share together in Holy Communion as we contemplate the gift and sacrifice that this night holds for us and for the world.

Good Friday Worship

Friday, April 7 at 12pm in the Sanctuary
How can we call this day Good? Yet it’s goodness is realized in our worship and the deep knowledge of our life in Christ that comes from such a day. Take time to worship on this particularly faith filled day.

Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, April 8 at 3:00 p.m. at the Liipfert’s – 111 Grove Pointe Drive
The Liipfert family will, once again, graciously host the best Easter Egg Hunt in town! Also enjoy barnyard animals for petting, hayrides, and some fun snacks. Don’t forget your chairs and blankets.

Easter Sunday Celebration

Sunday, April 9 – 9am in the Christian Life Center & 11:00 a.m. in the Vineville Sanctuary

Who will you invite to worship with you at Vineville on Sunday? This is one of the best times to invite a visitor. We will be making a flower cross in the CLC, so please bring flowers from your yard to help adorn the cross. There will be lilies, balloons, and butterflies along with special music as we celebrate the wonder of Easter. At 11:00 our service will include the choir singing the Easter portions of Messiah by Handel. They will be accompanied by a chamber orchestra. The only thing that will make it better is for you to be present!

We will blow up balloons for the celebration at 7:15 on Sunday. Many hands make light work. Join us if you can. We will also need people to put flowers in the cross prior to the 9:00 service. If you can help at 8:30 that would be great!
